How to do GST Verification Online

A Step-by-Step Guide to GST Verification

About GST

The process by which a taxpayer gets registered under Goods and Service Tax (GST) is GST registration. Once the registration process has been completed, the Goods and Service Tax Identification Number (GSTIN) is provided. The 15-digit GSTIN is provided by the Central Government and helps to determine whether a business is liable to pay GST.

Your GST Verification Process

Follow the steps mentioned below:-

Step 1:- Click on the following link to open the GST verification portal.

https://www.gst.gov.in/ the official website GST. You have opened the link, and a screen similar to the given below shows on your computer screen.

 

Step 2:- Click on the “Services" option at the top of the Menu bar. After this, many options will open. Then you click on the "Registration" option. a screen similar to the given below will show on your computer screen.

Step 3:- Now you click on the "New Registration” option. A screen similar to the given below shows on your computer screen.

Now click the "New Registration" option then you go to New Page and fill in the further details.

Step 4:- Enter your Valid Details:

  1. I am a
  2. State
  3. District
  4. Legal Name of Business
  5. PAN Card Number
  6. Email Id
  7. Registered Mobile Number

 

After filling in the details, then click the "Proceed" option and continue the GST verification process. If you enter the correct details then you go to the New Page. Otherwise, enter the valid details.

Step 5:- OTP would be sent to your mobile number and email.  You will receive the 6-digit OTP on your mobile number and also on your email id. Then Enter both OTP.

After filling both OTP, then click the "Submit" option and continue the GST verification process. If You Enter the Correct OTP then you go to the New Page. Otherwise, enter the valid OTP.

Step 6:- Submit the form, further your current basic GST details, then a similar screen to this will be displayed to you.

Your GST Part-A process is completed. After clicking on the proceed button, On Dashboard, the My Saved Application page will be displayed, you have to click on Action Button to proceed further. 

 

Step 7:-   Now you go to the home screen and. then a similar screen to this will be displayed to you.

 

Step 8:-   On the top of the page, the Registration Application form with 10 tabs open. Click on each tab to enter the details like

 

  1. Business Details
  2. Promoter / Partners
  3. Authorized Signatory
  4. Authorized Representative
  5. Principal Place of Business
  6. Additional Place of Business
  7. Good and Services
  8. Bank Accounts
  9. State Specific Information
  10. Verification

 

Step 9:- After filing all the Relevant Details, you need to click on Proceed Button. You can submit the Application via the following Options-

  1. Submit With DSC
  2. Submit With EVC

 

All details are submitted then your GST registration process is completed.
